Poetic-Verses

'' You Just Can't Trust ''

On reading the news,
I must take stock,
They've changed their views,
What a shock.

Religions have agreed,
They're now as one,
It's been decreed,
Their God is the Sun.

With apprehension,
Our light from above,
Will relieve all tension,
Fill us with love.

All their wealth,
Each one declares,
Will pay for health,
Instead of shares.

That beef they carve,
All will eat,
No-one will starve,
Through lack of meat.

No more slaughter,
Because you're poor,
Plenty of water,
Nothing to endure.

Hatred of race,
Is in the past,
Of wars, no trace,
No-one's harassed.

This doesn't enthral,
Those of the cloth,
Harmony for all?
Incurs their wroth.

They then complain,
To the men in suits.
This is insane,
No more disputes.

To continue killing,
They have a need,
They're more than willing,
To make us bleed.

They don't savour,
Our lives sunny,
They prefer to slaver,
Over loads of our money.

Goodwill and peace,
They will not defend,
No need to fleece?
They can't comprehend.

Our quest for equality,
Lies in the dust,
The clique called polity,
